Permex limited manufacture a complete range of custom-built lineside fluid dispensers for the automotive manufacturer. These dispensers are based around a core set of modules with the addition of special purpose jigs and equipment to provide the most productive system for your operators.
Amongst the fluids handled are the complete range of lubricating oils and greases found in vehicles as well as fuel (both petrol and diesel) and water/antifreeze and hydraulic oils.
Depending on your requirements, the amount of fluid dispensed can be controlled by:
Manual shut-off.
Batch filling by volume: e.g. Engines, gearboxes, fuel tanks.
Filling to level: e.g. Axles, some gearboxes, radiators.
Filling to level with top-up: e.g. hydraulic systems.
The fluid can be pre-treated before filling by:
Heating: e.g. oils for immediate engine test.
Cooling: e.g. fuel for special test purposes.
Blending: e.g. water/antifreeze mixture.
Permex can also automate the entire process whereby the engine, gearbox or vehicle is identified, the correct fluid and batch size is determined and the filling nozzles latch on, fill and detach automatically.
Of particular advantage to the vehicle manufacturer is the Permex 'suck-back' module. This ensures that the dispensing is as drip free as possible by sucking back a predetermined volume of fluid from the dispensing nozzle at the end of the dispense cycle. To ensure an accurate fill when using volumetric meters, the 'suck-back' unit automatically puts in the same volume during the dispense.
