SPECIFICATION

Power Supply	110/240V a.c., 50/60Hz, 25W or 12 to 18V d.c., 500mA.
Enclosure	Smooth finish, surface or panel mount, light grey ABS box to IP65, 240 x 160 x 90mm
Display	Back-lit LCD, alphanumeric, 2 rows of 16 characters, 3 x 6mm, or 1 row of 8 characters double size.
Memory	Battery backed, with full retention of set parameters during power-down. Restart in fail-safe batch-off mode.
Operator Functions	Start/Continue; Stop; Cancel stopped batch; set batch quantity; store and recall 9 presets; set scale factor; change display information and confirm entry. *These functions may be individually disabled.
Supervisor Functions	Protected by a user-set 4 digit security code. Reset totaliser; limit number of batches; reset number of complete batches; check and reset number of incomplete batches.
Set-Up Functions	Protected by a user-set 4 digit security code. Scale outputs; Count Up/Down; Set Auxiliary input operation; disable operator functions; set alarms (no pulse, pulse integrity suspect, flow rate high and/or low limits, pulses incoming during shut-down); choose remote preset or channel select; set over-run compensation, manual or automatic; configure remote stop and start; set trickle flow duration at start and/or end of batch; set time and date (if fitted); choose measurement units; set flow rate parameters; set communication and printer port operation and parameters.
Diagnostic functions	Protected by a user-set 4 digit security code. To check function of main inputs and outputs.
Outputs	Two changeover relays - rating 240V a.c., 30V d.c., 10A resistive maximum, 6A inductive maximum; Two power, for non-switched loads - rating 5 and 12V d.c., 50mA maximum; Eleven open collector outputs - rating 500mA maximum 50V - for: Relay 1, Relay 2, Scale output, Batch finished, Alarms 1 & 2, Batch running, Selected channel.
Inputs	Two, for switch closure, open collector or TTL pulses. Minimum pulse width 250 microseconds, maximum pulse frequency 2KHz (N.B. second input 90 degrees out of phase for pulse integrity checking); Remote 'Start' and 'Stop' (2), each with programmable pull-up or pull-down resistors. May be active high or low; Auxiliary - may be remote 'Cancel' or 'air-probe' input etc.; Remote select - for selecting any one of nine preset batches or one of nine operating channels.
Communication	Serial interface for printer.
Options	Serial communications for computer control and networking, RS232 and RS485 (2 wire) ports. Clock calendar facility.
